With his concert reading "Meine und andrer Leute Schlachten in und rund um Freiburg" (My and other people's battles in and around Freiburg), Buki presents texts and songs from his recently published autobiographical book "Lieder, Aufsätze, Kurzgeschichten" (Songs, essays, short stories). The singer-songwriter will present a wild mixture of his own political songs and texts from his time as an activist in the anti-nuclear movement and in Freiburg, as well as the heyday of the citizens' initiatives in South Baden. The concert reading is an exciting look into an important identity-forming time for the city of Freiburg and a tribute to civic interference in political processes.
