Yotam Peled has been carrying a heavy burden since childhood. He lives with pain that comes on suddenly and never completely disappears. In Migrena 2x2, Yotam Peled processes this pain through dance. He deals with trauma and memory. His solo performance combines dance, ritual and acrobatics. Using heavy weights and chains, Yotam Peled tests the limits of his body. It is a dance against and with pain - and beyond pain. Yotam Peled transports the audience into a world in which dream and memory, the conscious and the unconscious merge. He expresses his deepest thoughts and feelings through movement. Like a pendulum, he swings incessantly between absolute control and a stormy outburst. He is driven and carried by a deep, wild inner force. Will it release him from his burden?
