The Goethe-Institut Freiburg is delighted to welcome the German-French song recital "Mondrausch" by the duo ||:Noémie:||. Soprano Noémie Bousquet and pianist Noémie Berz dedicate their program to the moon - that eternal source of inspiration that seduces us to dream and has inspired generations of artists. The focus is on works by Romantic and Impressionist composers, whose voices are impressively brought to life by the musicians. The recital takes the audience on a poetic night-time journey through France and Germany, in which the moon appears in all its facets and creates emotional mirror images.
Noémie Bousquet and Noémie Berz founded their song duo ||:Noémie:|| in Freiburg in 2022 and have been passionately dedicated to German song and French mélodie ever since. In their musical journey, they interweave the two languages, which they not only sing, but also live. Their artistic partnership combines stage energy and sensitive interpretation with an eye for historical depth.
Noémie Berz is a pianist, fortepianist and harpsichordist who performs as a soloist and chamber musician with great stylistic openness.
Noémie Bousquet is an expressive soprano with extensive operatic experience who is particularly dedicated to art song.
