Forestville - a tranquil small town in the Midwest of the USA. Famous for its Christmas trees and friendly neighborhood.
But when doctor Elaine Kildrane returns from a convention in New York, she witnesses several incidents in which people don't think they recognize their closest relatives.

The whole town seems strangely changed: Neighbors, friends, acquaintances really do seem like brainwashed clones of themselves. And there are more and more of them. Elaine, the sheriff and the mayor's secretary slowly uncover a large-scale conspiracy led by an ominous "Mister Tomato". It seems that the town's leaders are even prepared to have their own population replaced in exchange for the slogan "Make Forestville great again". And the zombie mob tolerates no opposition...

Influenced by the 1950s science fiction film "Invasion from Outer Space", writer and director Manuel Kreitmeier has created an absurdly funny and perhaps precisely for this reason congenial parable about America under Donald Trump.
