Siberia - who doesn't think of vastness, wilderness and adventure? Of endless taiga and total seclusion? Magically drawn to this idea, the adventurer Richard Löwenherz repeatedly traveled to the remote areas beyond the Urals to immerse himself in a world full of pristine and majestic nature.
He crossed the Sayan and Altai mountain ranges single-handedly on a bicycle and overcame hundreds of kilometers of pathless wilderness on a small rubber dinghy. He then ventured into the deserted Suntar-Chajata mountains, climbed up an icy river early in the season to be carried to the Sea of Okhotsk by the meltwater flowing down the other side. And in winter, he rode 1,800 km solo on a fat bike across frozen rivers, lakes and swamps to the Arctic Ocean in the Siberian Arctic.
This exclusively compiled talk is a concentrated look back at Richard's incomparably crazy Siberian adventures - a talk that lets the audience share in the highlights and setbacks experienced, the uncertainty of what comes next, and takes them back to the people who always provided entertaining stories.
