For over 40 years, Arved Fuchs has been undertaking expeditions to the remote polar regions of our globe. He is the first person to reach both the North Pole and the South Pole on foot within one year. But what was originally a great adventure for him has long since become a mission.

Arved Fuchs calls a spade a spade and makes it clear what we are losing and what we need to change. He promotes the protection and preservation of nature. His thesis: a functioning world community requires a living nature.
