MUNDOLOGIA: Madagascar

Book tickets

The legacy of Lemuria

When Gondwana broke apart 250 million years ago and Africa migrated northwards and India eastwards, Madagascar was left behind as a fragment of this primeval continent in the Indian Ocean. Due to its complete isolation, species have survived here that have long since become extinct in other parts of the world. In their film and photo multivision, Katja and Josef Niedermeier get to the bottom of the secrets of this island state.
