MUNDOLOGIA: Patagonia

3,000 kilometers through the wilderness to Tierra del Fuego

Tobias Schorcht is faced with a dilemma: continue working as a teacher or give in to his longing for an XXL adventure? He opts for the latter. For eight months, he hikes and paddles through Patagonia's wilderness. A capsize on Chile's largest river, huge storms and crevasses present him with major challenges. Only thanks to the help of locals does he reach the Strait of Magellan after more than 3,000 kilometers.
