Romania is one of the most underestimated countries and still has to contend with numerous prejudices and clichés. But that can be changed. Accompany the two travel photographers Ruth and Jürgen Haberhauer into the solitude of the Carpathian Mountains, explore with them the magnificent cities and fortified churches of Transylvania and the indescribable biodiversity of the Danube Delta.

Why does the Romanian territory expand a few meters to the east every year? Where is the heaviest building in the world? Why is an undead vampire count still up to mischief in Transylvania? For 20 years now, the two have been traveling back and forth to the land where Ruth spent her childhood. And in doing so, they not only unearth memories of Ruth's family history, but also get to know Romania in a completely new way over the course of time.

A talk about the forces of nature, improvisation and pure joie de vivre!
