MUNDOLOGIA seminar: Street photography

Book tickets

Would you like to learn street photography from a professional? Then you've come to the right place. For the award-winning laif photographer Lutz Jäkel, street photography is one of the most exciting genres of photography. Because it tells the story of street life, unpredictable, unposed, it appeals to emotions in a special way.

Street photography is also possible anywhere and at any time, neither expensive equipment nor extensive knowledge is required - a handy camera or even a smartphone will suffice. Much more important are patience and observation skills, a keen eye and recognizing motifs.

In this photo seminar, Lutz Jäkel will first give you an overview of street photography, showing you examples of famous photographers as well as many of his own photos. He describes how he goes about taking such photos and tries to make himself as invisible as possible, i.e. to be "low profile". This will familiarize you with the exciting genre of street photography, so you can get started right away and photograph where the most diverse motifs are virtually on the street.
