Sustainable circular economy in practice: at the Lindenbrunnenhof farm

Sustainable circular economy in practice: at the Lindenbrunnenhof farm

Free entry

As part of the "VISIONS OF SUSTAINABILITY" project series, we cordially invite you to visit the Lindenbrunnenhof farm in Forchheim. Following the film screening of "Our Soil, Our Heritage", you now have the opportunity to get to know and discuss the concepts addressed in the film directly on site. The Lindenbrunnenhof farm, run by Christa and Otmar Binder, has been a member of the Bioland association since 2011 and is committed to organic farming. With a diverse crop rotation and the use of purely organic fertilizers, the soil is cultivated sustainably. Particularly noteworthy is the adaptation to the specific conditions of the heavy soil, which has been achieved through numerous experiments and innovative cultivation methods. Direct marketing plays a central role: fresh produce is sold directly to customers in the farm store and at regional farmers' markets, such as the Stühlinger Markt in Freiburg and the farmers' market in Hinterzarten. This not only promotes the regional economy, but also enables a direct exchange between producers and consumers. Experience how sustainable agriculture is put into practice at Lindenbrunnenhof and discuss the challenges and successes of an ecological circular economy with the operators. - Registration required.
