Sewing painting - the sewing machine becomes a paintbrush (incl. upcycling)

Price: 69.00€

The sewing machine can be used to draw or paint patterns, lettering and pictures on the fabric. You leave the rules of classic sewing and sew freehand with the sewing machine, just like any other creative process. This technique can be used to embellish used textiles with embroidery by enhancing them with freehand embroidery, embroidery stabilizer and appliqués made from fabric remnants, giving them a new lease of life. Please bring along: Fabric remnants (for appliqués or as a picture base 30x30 cm or larger), garments to be embellished, different colored sewing threads, black sewing machine embroidery thread or dark-colored topstitching thread (this thread is thicker than normal sewing thread), tailor's chalk, non-woven stabilizer H180 and 410 (for jersey), motif templates (magazines, photocopies of your own photos in DIN A4).
