Due to the planned extension of the tram line 1, the current terminus at the Laßbergschleife is no longer needed in its current function and there is also a lot of development potential along the Littenweiler station. The aim: to develop both areas in a contemporary and functional way and thus create an attractive new center for the people in both districts.

The current status of the further developed feasibility study will be presented by experts from the administration and the commissioned planning offices on Wednesday, December 17, at 7 p.m. in the Dreisamhalle Ebnet (Unteres Grün 15, 79117 Freiburg). Please register by December 10 at www.freiburg.de/littenweiler-waldsee. Further information on the project is also available there.
After the results of the 1st Citizens' Dialogue in May 2025 have been incorporated and further elaborated, additional information from the upcoming 2nd Citizens' Dialogue will be included in the planning. A final exhibition is planned to present the final results to the public in summer 2026.
