New ways to reconcile family and career: Workshop for women
Friday, 14/11/2025 / 03:00 PM - 06:00 PM / town hall in Stühlinger
Many women naturally take on responsibility for children, relatives and the household - often at the expense of their own professional goals. But what are the long-term consequences of this decision? Postponing professional dreams can not only reduce career opportunities, but also result in financial losses in old age. The workshop "Strong together - sharing family work fairly - realizing career aspirations" invites women to pause and ask themselves important questions: What role should my career play in my life? How can I achieve my professional goals? How do I create the necessary freedom for this? How can we distribute the work in the family more fairly?
In an inspiring setting with input, exercises and exchanges, participants discover new ways to focus on their own wishes and goals. The workshop with Sabine Keller, career coach/trainer, strengthens the courage to stand up for oneself and to rethink the division of care work.
Participation is free of charge, the number of places is limited. Registration is now open at www.frauundberuf-bw.de/freiburg.
The workshop is part of the series "Beruflich in Bewegung - Information und Austausch für Frauen" (On the move professionally - information and exchange for women), to which the Kontaktstelle Frau und Beruf Freiburg - Südlicher Oberrhein regularly invites women. It is open to all women who want to develop their careers. The complete program can be found on the website of the Kontaktstelle Frau und Beruf at www.frauundberuf-bw.de/freiburg.
