Guided tour of the old town with a visit to Freiburg Cathedral

Experience every Thursday at 14:30 the picturesque and green Freiburg on a beautiful tour through the old town. Your tour guide will show you the famous ,,Freiburger Bächle", the small watercourses along the streets and alleys, the winding ,,Gässle" and the many colorful Rhine pebble mosaics that give Freiburg its very special flair. Let us guide you to the Münsterplatz with its beautiful town houses and secular buildings.

The tour starts at the Rathausplatz, where your guide is already waiting for you. Already on the town hall square there are numerous historical buildings to discover. From here you will walk along Kaiser-Joseph-Strasse, the former "Große Gass'" of medieval Freiburg, to the Freiburg Cathedral, the cultural center of the historic Old Town and an outstanding example of medieval Gothic architecture.

Afterwards, discover the bizarrely shaped gargoyles, the filigree church tower and the colorful farmer's market on the Münsterplatz together with the guide. Afterwards, discover some of the historical sights around the Minster: the historic Kaufhaus, the Alte Wache, the Haus zum schönen Eck and many more. The tour continues along Konviktstraße, one of the most beautiful alleys in Freiburg, to the "Handwerkerviertel".
