ORCHESTRAL COVERS with SOAP&SKIN

This year, the philharmonic orchestra under the direction of André de Ridder will be performing a very special program on the circus tent stage at the ZMF.
From classical compositions by Rimsky-Korsakov, who overwrote Mussorgsky's legendary 'Night on Bald Mountain', to the latest orchestral arrangements by Depeche Mode and Billie Eilish, to the exceptional Austrian singer and actress Anja Plaschg aka Soap&Skin, whose latest album is the first to consist entirely of cover versions of songs that mean a great deal to her. From these, she will perform a selection of orchestral arrangements created especially for this evening. Works by David Bowie, Velvet Underground and others will also be part of this extraordinary evening.
