Organ transplantation. Psychological challenges and support options

Hamburg psychotherapist Judith Beck will be speaking on Wednesday, November 6 at 7.30 pm at the Catholic Academy in Freiburg, Wintererstr. 1, as well as online, about the psychological challenges of organ transplantation and will highlight ways to provide support.

The long wait for an organ and the associated restrictions pose major psychological challenges for many of those affected. After the operation, many deal intensively with the question of the donor person, especially if they have passed away. Adjusting to the new life can also be challenging.
