Participation?! - Shaping cultural education with children and young people

Under the title "Participation? - Shaping cultural education with children and young people", the event is dedicated to the question of how children and young people can not only be reached, but can also be won over as active co-creators of cultural education projects. The aim of the network meeting is to provide impetus for future-oriented and participatory cultural education work in Freiburg and the region and to show how the "Kultur macht stark" funding program can be used to implement such projects.

Stakeholders from the fields of culture, education and youth work are invited to come together to discuss and develop ideas on how inclusive, safe learning and creative spaces can be created - spaces in which young people are taken seriously, empowered and creatively effective. Successful "Kultur macht stark" projects from the region will also report on their experiences with participation in project work.

As part of the networking event, there will be a "market of opportunities" on the topic of child and youth participation. Interested parties who would like to present their organization, a project or a thematic concern in the field of participation are welcome to apply for a topic table as part of the registration process.

Participation in the event is free of charge and barrier-free. Translation into German sign language will be provided.

Please register by September 17, 2025.
