Participatory music event for free improvisation

An ArtSession is an open, cross-genre improvisation format that brings together people from a wide range of musical backgrounds. Since the end of 2024, anArtSession has been taking place approximately every month at Schopf2. After an opener by an ArtEnsemble, the names of all those interested are collected and put together by lot to form trios or quartets. Listening only is also welcome! Improvisation can be experienced as a musical dialog and social practice that focuses on the joy of experimentation and encounters at eye level.
