Paysage

In PAYSAGE, dance and photography enter into a lively dialog and question the relationship between collectivity and individuality. Based on the concrete experience of walking together, three dancers explore the feeling of community through movement. Confronted with the vastness of a seemingly limitless space, they set off on a choreographic journey in which the journey is the actual destination. To live-generated sound collages, they create a living architecture that is in a constant state of flux. Elements of urban dance are combined with contemporary dance and a spatial interplay of multiple levels and perspectives. This exploration of collective movement also focuses on dealing with inner resistance, overcoming one's own limitations and the question of what ultimately sustains us and gives us stability.
