Pictorialism: An artistic style of photography, weekend workshop

This photography course offers the opportunity to take an in-depth look at a historical photographic style and use it creatively for contemporary projects. Let yourself be inspired and create artistic, picturesque photographs with a special atmosphere. The course schedule: on Friday evening we will begin with an introduction to the topic and to Pictorialist photography. We will discuss typical shooting techniques and you will receive tips on image composition and art prints. Saturday is the practical day, during which we will do creative exercises in the city and create and discuss our own pictures in the style of Pictorialism. Afterwards, the possibilities of digital image editing for this style will be demonstrated. - Please bring along: DSLR or system camera with options for adjusting the exposure, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, a weaker ND filter if available and possibly fixed focal lengths.
