Panel discussion: As in heaven...concepts of the afterlife then and now

A panel discussion will take place in the archaeological museum "Colombischlössle" on the occasion of the newly designed treasure chamber, with Sebastian Brather, Early History Archaeology, Mareike Hartmann, Theology, Art History, and Andrea Kohler, Clinic Pastoral Care. Together they will discuss the changing conceptions of the afterlife. What do burial objects from the early Middle Ages tell us? And what ideas about the afterlife do people of different cultural and religious backgrounds have today? The panel discussion will be moderated by Stefan Orth, editor-in-chief of Herder Korrespondenz. In cooperation with the Catholic Academy. Admission is from 6.30 pm. The number of participants is limited. Admission is free of charge.
