Lecture by Juliane Schäuble, Der Tagesspiegel, Washington, D.C. | As part of the series "Unprecedented: The US Presidential Elections 2024"
Trump or Harris? The irreconcilability of the two camps polarizes and divides American society. Burrowed in their own ideological wagons, Democrats and Republicans predict the end of the world for the United States if the other candidate wins the election. What would be the domestic and international consequences of a Kamala Harris or Donald Trump presidency? Which of the two has the better chance of winning the White House? Juliane Schäuble will report on all this and more. She had her first experience of America at a high school in rural Texas. The USA correspondent for the Tagesspiegel not only studied political science in Germany, but also "American Foreign Policy" in Washington and is very familiar with the political system in the United States.
