Program
The program of the prizewinners' concert includes works by Johann Sebastian Bach, John Francis Barnett, Manuel de Falla, Leoš Janáček, Fritz Kreisler, Helmut Lachenmann and an organ improvisation.
David Kiefer is studying organ improvisation in the concert examination course and has already completed the concert examination course in organ. He has just been awarded the title "Organist of the Year" and first prize at the "International Gottfried Silbermann Organ Competition".
Kyeongseo Lee, a master's student of piano and accompaniment, was awarded second prize at the XXVI International Piano Competition in Ibiza in 2025. She has already won other international prizes in the past.
Jiaqi Lu, concert exam student in violin, was awarded third prize and a special prize at the Leoš Janáček Violin Competition in the Czech Republic in 2025. She won third prize at the 13th Vaclav Huml Competition in Croatia and was awarded a special prize at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University Competition.
Shigetora Yokoi, a bachelor's student in flute, won the Matsuka Hall Music Award in Japan in 2025. At the international flute competition "Ferdinand W. Neess" in 2024, he won third prize and an award for the best interpretation of Emile Naoumoff's sonata.
