Raphaël Kolly: A home for Michel and Angelo - Lirum Larum Reading Festival: Wild Friday with castles in the air and tree houses (from 7 years, parents forbidden!)

Book tickets

The colorful birds Michel and Angelo dream of a home of their own. When they are big enough, the two set off - but they soon go their separate ways. Angelo builds an imposing tower high up in the clouds. Michel plants a nut from which his home will grow. Will the dissimilar brothers find their way back together despite their different ideas and lifestyles? "A Home for Michel and Angelo" (Atlantis, 2025), the new, bright picture book by Swiss illustrator Raphaël Kolly, tells of differences, patience and cohesion. After looking at the book, visitors draw their own dream houses and print them in two colors at the Literaturhaus-Risograph.
