Riesling from the Moselle

Riesling from the Moselle

Price: 66.00€

Mosel is a wine-growing region with around 9000 hectares of vineyards. It stretches over 250 km on the left bank of the Rhine from Perl via Trier, Bernkastel and Cochem to Koblenz. 60% of the vineyards are planted with the Riesling grape variety. The vines are mostly planted on slate soils, which give the Moselle Riesling an unmistakable aroma that is particularly appreciated by connoisseurs but dismissed as artificial by critics. Wineries such as Egon Müller, Fritz Haag, Van Volxem and Reichsgraf von Kesselstadt are international players. However, the Moselle also has a large number of small family businesses that produce a wide variety of Riesling wines. Enjoy a special type of Riesling in the wine seminar, which is characterized by its delicate lightness, but still has a characteristic taste typical of the region. Material costs of €30 are included in the course fee.
