Faculty of Engineering robotics competition - Mars robots on course

The Faculty of Engineering at the University campus Freiburg is hosting the final of the robot competition, which is part of the System Design project. On February 10, 2026, the foyer of the faculty will be transformed into a Martian landscape: around 350 students will send their self-developed robots on a challenging course with hills, craters and obstacles. The competition combines engineering skills, innovation and excitement and offers insights into modern technology and teamwork.

Interviews are possible with professors, organizers and students as well as representatives of the partner companies Bosch Sensortec, SensoPart and TDK Micronas.
