Ryan O'Reilly (UK)

Ryan O'Reilly, from Winchester, UK, is a songwriter whose Irish heritage and English upbringing make him a passionate storyteller. His meandering path began with gigs at open-mics in Toronto as a teenager, a poetry degree in Dublin, street performances on London's Portobello Road and a move to Berlin in 2015.

Ryan began to make a name for himself through fan-booked tours across Europe and Canada, learning his craft as an opener for artists such as Arkells and Lissie, accompanying artists such as Tift Merritt and Anaïs Mitchell on stage, and touring Europe and Canada with The O'Pears, Adam Barnes, Jadea Kelly and Hayley Reardon, as well as guitarist Andrea Vittozzi.

The London Evening Standard wrote that the "Ryan O'Reilly Band", which also includes Tyler Kyte and David Granshaw, is the perfect counterweight to "conveyor belt pop".
