Saturday museum for kids: Mensch Macht Musik

Saturday museum for kids: Mensch Macht Musik

At the Saturday Museum for Kids, children aged between 6 and 10 explore two exhibitions dedicated to the topic of sound. It starts at the Museum Natur und Mensch (Natural History Museum), where participants explore the origins and materials of well-known and lesser-known musical instruments, try them out and build a drum. They then move on to the Museum für Neue Kunst (Museum of Contemporary Art) and the "Listening differently" exhibition. In the sound cabinet, the children create sounds and noises with various everyday objects and find their own rhythm. In the meantime, the adults can visit current exhibitions or stroll through the city center. Participation costs 5 euros. Tickets are available in the online store. If necessary, please bring food and drink for the children. The meeting point is the Museum Natur und Mensch (Natural History Museum) ticket office.
