Black Forest Clean-Up Days

Spring cleaning on the local mountain: On Sunday, 27 April, the Freiburg-Breisgau section of the German Alpine Club is organizing a garbage collection campaign on the Schauinsland in cooperation with the forestry office.
The meeting point is at 10 am at the valley station of the Schauinsland cable car. Everyone who enjoys being out in nature and wants to do something good for the environment is invited.
Interested parties can register by Monday, April 21, by sending an email to natur-umwelt@dav-freiburg.de. Please state the number of participants and their age.
The litter pickers will receive free tickets for the return journey on the Schauinsland cable car. Once on the local mountain, they will clear the hiking trails of garbage.
The necessary equipment such as bin tongs and bin bags are provided by the organizers, but participants must bring their own gloves. There will be a snack and drinks for refreshment at lunchtime.
