Seminar: Culture of remembrance and its significance for democracy

The interdisciplinary seminar "Back to the Future - Remembering Democracy" is aimed at teachers of social studies, history, geography, economics, religion and ethics at all types of schools. Renowned experts will relate and discuss the history of democracy and the present and future of the culture of remembrance. The seminar is a cooperation between the Documentation Center for National Socialism, the State Center for Political Education, Freiburg branch office, the State Working Group of Memorials and Memorial Initiatives of the LpB and the Institute for Political Education Baden-Württemberg e. V., Studienhaus Wiesneck. Registration is required by Monday, September 2, at https://www.wiesneck.de/fortbildung. Participation costs 45 euros including meals.
