The German keyboardist and composer Simon Oslender, who is considered a "rising star" on the European jazz scene, presents catchy original compositions and energetic improvisation at the highest level with his trio.
For several years now, the Aachen-born pianist, keyboardist and organist has been touching the music world with his melodic, emotional and energetic playing, displaying an artistic maturity that his young age would not suggest. With the bass legend Claus Fischer and the congenial Dutch drummer Jérôme Cardynaals, he has found two close confidants and musical brothers in spirit - a combination that inspires with its exuberant joy of playing, deep grooves and boundless creativity.
Once entering the scene as a great young talent on the Hammond organ, Simon Oslender, born in 1998, has had an impressive career in recent years. Inspired by his parents and family to make music at an early age, he was already working as a professional musician during his school years. Today, he is considered one of the country's most promising young artists and tours the world in the bands of Wolfgang Haffner, Thomas Quasthoff and saxophonist Bill Evans. Other musical accolades include performances, tours and productions with Nils Landgren, Randy Brecker, Gregory Porter, Ivan Lins, Steve Gadd, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Will Lee, Nathan East, the WDR Big Band, Max Mutzke and many more
