Smart Energy Summit 2026

Many SMEs in Germany are currently facing major financial challenges - particularly due to rising energy costs and bureaucratic hurdles.

At the same time, the energy sector is undergoing a profound transformation towards renewable and decentralized solutions.

This reveals a central problem: while renewable energies are making important contributions to climate protection, new challenges are arising in terms of reliable and affordable energy supply. The strong expansion of solar and wind energy often results in electricity surpluses during the day, while at night - especially after the decline of nuclear and coal power - supply gaps arise that have to be covered by imports.

To resolve these imbalances, storage solutions and intelligent energy management systems that are also secure against cyber attacks are urgently needed. Although Germany is well positioned technologically and is developing innovative solutions, their implementation is being held back by slow approval procedures and bureaucracy.

In addition, there are already new, economically viable technologies in the energy sector that could cut costs and reduce risks - but many companies are not yet sufficiently aware of these possibilities.

All of these challenges and opportunities are the focus of the Smart Energy Summit, where innovative solutions will be presented and discussed in a practical manner.
