Price: 9.00€

French and American troops conquered Mulhouse and Strasbourg as early as November 1944, but Generals de Lattre de Tassigny and Leclerc did not advance towards each other. This allowed the German bridgehead near Colmar, the "Poche de Colmar", to hold, which led to heavy losses. American bombers destroyed numerous villages to pave the way to the Rhine for the Allies. Illustrated lecture with historical photos and a look at the commemorations in February 2025 in and around Colmar. - Registration required.
