Stone Age camp life like 8000 years ago
Sunday, 08/02/2026 / 11:00 AM - 01:00 PM / WaldHaus (Forest House) Freiburg
How does it feel to live like in the Stone Age for two weeks? Paleotechnician Markus Klek tries it out on himself time and again, sometimes in the middle of winter in the Black Forest or Lapland
For the past two years, however, he has also been taking normal people back to prehistoric times to live together as a small clan, without modern aids, among wild horses and aurochs. Where is this possible and how do people behave? What can you expect there in the middle of nature and what happens if things don't go according to plan? Markus Klek talks about this in another exciting and entertaining lecture, peppered with humorous anecdotes and interesting facts about life in the Stone Age. As with his previous talks in the forest house (WaldHaus), he will also be bringing along some homemade Stone Age equipment for visitors to see and touch. Various TV stations and TerraX History have already reported on his activities.
For adults and children aged 8 and over.
