Scenic reading: Lotte Paepcke

Scenic reading: Lotte Paepcke

The Documentation Center for National Socialism invites you to a reading of Lotte Paepcke's "Ein kleiner Händler, der mein Vater war". The Jewish writer's story is about her father Max Mayer, the former Freiburg leather merchant and SPD city councillor. He had to flee from the National Socialists to Switzerland at the last moment and was able to emigrate from there to the USA years later. Under the direction of Ullo von Peinen, the senior citizens' theater "die methusalems" has created a staged reading. Participation is free of charge. The number of participants is limited.
