T. Thomason's Dirty Thoughts Tour - Freiburg

Price: from 15.00€ to 20.00€

The Dirty Thoughts Tour by Canadian indie pop artist T. Thomason comes to the Erogene Zone in Freiburg on March 11, with Basel-based poet Sascha Rijkeboer!
The inspiration for the Dirty Thoughts Tour was the song of the same name on T.'s recently released album "Tenderness". Desire and self-discovery as a queer trans* person and the importance of intimate relationships are at the center of this tour. It's about transforming shame into joy and enthusiasm, because that's what T. believes is immensely important - regardless of which community we call home.
ABOUT THE ARTISTS
T. Thomason has been inspiring Canadian and international audiences with his energetic, emotional indie pop performances since his youth.
As an advocate for queer and trans* rights, T. strives to create positive, life-affirming experiences for his community (and everyone else) through his music. Songwriting is a way for him to "package difficult things tenderly".
Collaborating with Sarah McLachlan, opening for Carly Rae Jepsen and touring with Collective Soul are just some of the highlights of T's career to date. T.'s latest album "Tenderness", released on Six Shooter Records in 2024, is packed with "odes to the quiet, beautiful and frightening moments of intimacy" (Range Magazine) and has many facets. It begins shimmering, dreamy and intimate and slowly builds into a pop-rock explosion of nostalgia and emotion: longing and gratitude, love and fear, determination and joy" (CBC Music).
Sascha Rijkeboer shares with us the latest that has emerged from their writing.
