The Rosemarie miracle
Thursday, 06/03/2025 / 08:00 PM / Theatre of the Immoralists
Every German knew Rosemarie Nitribitt in the 1950s. The murder of the high-class Frankfurt prostitute was the first major scandal of the young Federal Republic, as the illustrious clientele of "DER NITRIBITT" included aristocrats, business bosses, racing drivers and politicians. The sensationalist press, like the humble housewife, craved every piece of news about the prominent murder victim, who appeared far too self-confident by the standards of the time and used to approach her clients on the street from a luxury sports car and take them to her apartment in downtown Frankfurt. Rosemarie wanted to get to the top and was prepared to do anything to get there. At the age of 24, the former child in a home was already one of the top earners in Germany. But who had a reason to kill Rosemarie? The truth is: many!
We reconstruct the last day in the life of Rosemarie Nitribitt in a bitter satire about the so-called economic miracle.
