"Who are you?" croaks the frog. The little something just can't think of an answer to this difficult question. So he goes off and asks all the other animals: the horse, the bird, the fish ...
They are all somehow strange, interested but not tired of looking for various differences. Exhausted, sad and at a loss, it finally feels like "nothing at all". But suddenly he notices something unique ...
A dazzling story of someone who sets out to look for himself in others, but ultimately finds himself in himself. A fantastic story about the search for identity and orientation, tolerance and awareness, about "being different" and - precisely for this reason - about "belonging". In verse, rhyme and song for young children. A plea for the whole family. Told and sung by a strangely large, colorful, constantly changing creature, a music-making box on 4 long legs and a small, cheeky box inhabitant who climbs the thread of the story. "Playfully" all three find an answer together....
Play: Annegret Geist

"The fact that it is so much fun to watch this search for identity is primarily down to Annegret Geist. She trots, hops and rattles across the small stage in her colorful foam rubber skirt, whinnying and humming, croaking and singing with obvious joy... Everything is light-footed, convincing and completely without the mom-is-playing-now-what's-going-on attitude that you find with some puppeteers. A magical piece."
