Action month: Old cemetery Freiburg

In November, the old cemetery in Freiburg is the focus of a special month of activities organized by the Tourist Info. With guided tours, an anniversary exhibition and digital offers, the history of this unique place will be brought to life in a variety of ways.

What you can expect:

1) Thematic guided tours of the old cemetery
Find out more about the people who found their final resting place here and discover the most beautiful gravestones from the 18th and 19th centuries.

• 28.11., 2 p.m. - with Dr. Gerhard Krieger

Participation free of charge, donations for the Friends of the Old Cemetery Association welcome
Registration via the Tourist Information - registration deadline the day before at 5 pm.

2) Anniversary exhibition "Of ancestors and successors"
To mark the 25th anniversary of the association, Meckelhalle is showing impressive portraits of descendants and successors in front of the graves of their ancestors.
