Online event in the series "When everything is different ..."
The online event "Grief is like a wound" on Friday, November 28 from 2 to 4 p.m. will focus on spirituality and grief counseling. In his presentation, deacon, grief counselor and supervisor Wolfgang Holzschuh from Regensburg will show how spirituality can accompany and strengthen people on their journey through grief.
Grief is an existential experience that affects the whole person. When a loved one dies, questions about faith and meaning often arise: What really sustains me? Where can I find comfort? Is there a future beyond death?
For many people, spirituality plays an important role in the grieving process. It can be a source of strength. At the same time, their own faith is often challenged and questioned in its depth. In this area of tension lies a deep human potential for inner transformation and maturation.
The lecture followed by a discussion is the second part of the series "When everything is different ..." and takes place as part of the Palliative Care Forum in cooperation with the Department of Pastoral Projects and Basic Services in the Archdiocesan Pastoral Care Office Freiburg and the Liturgy of Farewell Department in the Institute for Pastoral Education of the Archdiocese of Freiburg.
Participation is free of charge, prior registration is required at: www.katholische-akademie-freiburg.de
