Twin Transformation 2.0
The responsibility of politics, science and business
Linking digitalization and sustainability
Abstract
Following the successful inaugural event in October 2024, the second edition of the Twin Transformation series is dedicated to the question of how politics, science and business can shape sustainable digitalization. Between regulation, tight budgets and pressure to innovate, new, responsible solutions are needed. The twin transformation, i.e. the simultaneous advancement of sustainability and digitalization, opens up opportunities for greater efficiency, proximity to citizens and ecological impact. Before the start of the public evening event, an exchange meeting between selected start-ups from Freiburg and the region and Cem Özdemir will take place from 5.00 pm to 6.00 pm. The focus will be on the breadth of the startup scene in Freiburg and spin-offs from the University campus Freiburg.
