Urban birding in Freiburg - with Kalle Nibbenhagen

While summer fills the bird world with colorful activity and melodic songs, Freiburg's nature shows a completely different, fascinating side in autumn and winter. Anyone who may have already taken part in the summer tour will now be looking at the city's feathered inhabitants with new eyes.

Along the Dreisam and other bodies of water, we discover bird species that can also be seen in the cold season. Where you would hardly expect to find life, there is a concert of birdsong - and hardy species can be found in unexpected places.
