From conflict to understanding and cooperation
in-depth seminar on non-violent communication (NVC)

From conflict to understanding and cooperation - in-depth seminar on non-violent communication (NVC)

The basics of non-violent communication are refreshed and consolidated. You will practise communicating appreciatively and sincerely (in a professional context) and listening empathetically to others, putting your own conflicts into a structure and solving them using role play as an example. New ways of dealing with how we can avoid or overcome stumbling blocks in communication are demonstrated. Aspects of communication that we may not have been aware of until now are brought into focus. For example, how we deal with our own boundaries and the boundaries of others. Seminar content:- Deepening the four components of NVC- Uncovering obstructive language patterns- Dealing with our own anger in a self-empathic way- Dissolving blame, taking responsibility- Raising awareness of common, non-empathic ways of dealing with others- Expressing feedback- Dealing with a "no"- Dealing with interruption and being interrupted

Course leader: Salvason, Ronya. The seminar leader has been intensively involved with NVC since 2005 and has been teaching it since 2011. She also offers empathic support, coaching and mediation based on NVC. She is also a facilitator and trainer for systemic consensus, a decision-making process for groups.
