Lecture: The art of attention

The topic of the lecture at the archaeological museum "Colombischlössle" is the "Art of Attention". For two million years, people have been using tools and techniques to direct attention, share knowledge and create conditions for shared learning. Around 100,000 years ago, they began to consciously leave traces. Was this the basis of art? Miriam N. Haidle from the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences and Humanities will give participants an insight into these early developments. Admission is from 6.30 pm. Participation is free of charge.
