The fulfillment of a dream - the happiness of living on a farm as self-sufficient farmers

Geraldine and Patrick have opted for a farm life in the countryside, with a rustic kitchen stove, cow pasture, sheepfold and farm garden. And for the two farm influencers and self-sufficient farmers, one thing is certain: it's the best life they could imagine for their two children and themselves. But before this happiness could become a reality, the couple had a lot of big and small adventures - and Geraldine Schüle tells us all about them in this book. We find out why the family camp out in their own bedroom, what it's like to be in the public eye every day despite living on a rather remote 500-year-old monastery farm in need of renovation, and what advantages the digital world brings with it.

Geraldine Schüle comes from Staufen in Breisgau. After graduating from high school, she traveled the world on her own and studied geography and ethnology in Cologne. She also trained as a circus trainer and clown. She worked as a trainer and director in the circus, wrote books about her travels and gave storytelling seminars for companies and academies throughout Germany. Together with her husband Patrick and their two children, sheep, cows, dog and cat, the author now lives on the German-Swiss border. On her Instagram account, which is followed by more than 450,000 people, she shows life, work and progress on the monastery farm.
