Lecture: When past experiences have an effect in old age

Experiences and traumatic events from the past can surface in different ways in old age and affect well-being.
Martin Frey, curative educator, care specialist and trauma expert in elderly care, will give a talk on dealing with war trauma in people with and without dementia.
The aim of the event is to provide information about the experiences of today's elderly people and to find ways to support all those involved in order to meet the challenges in an appreciative manner.
The lecture is part of the information series organized by the Dementia Network in cooperation with the Senior Citizens' Office and Care Support Point.
Location: Town hall in Stühlinger (Fehrenbachallee 12, existing building, large meeting room).
