Hike to the wind turbines on the Taubenkopf

Program:

• from 9.00 a.m.: Ascent with the Schauinsland cable car
• 9.30 - 11.30 am: Breakfast at Café & Restaurant Die Bergstation (optional)
• 11.30 - 12.00 a.m.: Start of the guided hike (route length approx. 5 km) with district forester Philipp Schell to the wind turbine on the Taubenkopf, meeting point: mountain station entrance, the guided hike is free of charge
• approx. 14.00 - 15.00: Lecture and insight into the wind turbine with Managing Director Thomas Schuwald (Ökostromgruppe Freiburg)
• approx. 3.00 - 4.00 p.m.: guided hike (route length approx. 2.5 km) with forest ranger Schell back to the valley station

Costs:
The normal rate applies for the cable car ride, the reduced group rate applies for registered guests. Guests who also book breakfast receive the reduced combination rate of breakfast + single cable car ride at 33.50 euros.

Registration:
For the guided hike (route length approx. 5 km) with or without breakfast, registration by email via info@schauinslandbahn.de is required. Seats in the Café & Restaurant Die Bergstation (1st floor) will be reserved for registered guests.

The hike can also be done alone. Komoot hikes will be available on the website www.schauinslandbahn.de in due course.

If the event has to be canceled due to weather conditions, registered guests will be informed by e-mail.

The Schauinslandbahn can be reached in an environmentally friendly way by taking the tram line 2 to the final stop Günterstal, from there continue by bus 21 to the valley station. The Schauinsland cable car is in operation from 9 am to 5 pm.
