Weimar cabaret - Goethe times, bad times

Book tickets

Peace above all peaks...? Not at all! It's anything but quiet at the Weimar cabaret: Faust I and Faust II will have you slapping your thighs with laughter. Bernard Liebermann and Thierry Gelloz are to blame: in a colorful, musical and hilarious evening, they get to the bottom of Goethe the Privy Councillor ... And dare to compare his era with today.
It's clear: everything used to be better. Back then, today was tomorrow and yesterday was today - unimaginable today! The Weimar cabaret asks the important questions: Why did Napoleon look up to Goethe? And why did he turn a deaf ear to Beethoven? What would impress the prince of poets more today - the artificial intelligence of machines or the natural stupidity of his fellow human beings?
The two word acrobats Liebermann and Gelloz tie their tongues in knots and strain your laughing muscles: Weimar with wit, cabaret with classicism, Goethe with gags ... Enjoy yourself (Erl)royally! So turn on the spotlights - or to paraphrase Goethe: "More light"!
