GEORGY TCHAIDZE
Born in St. Petersburg in 1988, Georgy Tchaidze received violin and piano lessons at the age of seven. He studied with Nina Feoktistova in N. Novgorod, with Sergei Dorensky in Moscow and with Klaus Hellwig at the University of the Arts in Berlin. Among Tchaidze's numerous competition successes, it is worth mentioning the 1st prize at the Canadian Honens Competition, which he won in 2009. Then in 2015 he won the Top of the World Competition in Tromsø, Norway. Georgy Tchaidze has already proven himself in recent years with piano recitals at Berlin's Konzerthaus, Amsterdam's Concertgebouw, New York's Carnegie Hall and London's Wigmore Hall. Georgy has already released three CDs: Chamber Music with the Cecilia String Quartet, a Schubert album and works by Medtner, Mussorgsky and Prokofiev.
